Both cost money to go with the custom taxonomy aspects etc.. so don’t want to commit without a bit of research. * Would like to go Gravity as it works well with our chosen theme. We need the ability to edit/update posts (your plugin does the trick for Gravity) according to the description & reviews) * Quick Q. The Custom Post Types plugin to Gravity Forms is reported to be broken in WP 3.9.1. Do you know whether there is a documented fix available and if so what is it please ? In testing, it has worked fine for me, but I haven’t been using it extensively recently. It has worked for all of the stuff I used it for on 3.9.1, which is mainly testing forms to test this plugin… * I haven’t used WP User Frontend. I usually use Advanced Custom Fields to create back end custom fields and then I use its acf_form() function to add forms to the front end. I build all of my large-scale systems and apps that way. Also because ACF is very extendible, I can create my own custom fields for it (eg: a Vimeo uploader field). I’m trying to build a Dashboard of submitted news stories. Stories is a custom post type and I can make Gravity submit story fields to this custom content type with the ‘Gravity + custom post type’ plugin. The problem is that I must be able to have users return and edit their submitted news stories until they are published – I’m trying out Gravity View at the moment as a dashboard way of viewing their stories. It can work well with almost anything form related.. but for post creation and update, WP user pro does the job well and fast. It can also create user registration form without the need of addons, it’s a native feature of the plugin. * But if your site is mainly about creating complicated forms and maintaining entries of data submitted through the form, you should really go for Gravity.
