If you create a gravity form with conditional dropdowns, and the conditional dropdowns don’t get triggered, LeadIn will still capture their default value, which can lead to confusion when reading the logs.

For instanced, a dropdown to select the country, can have a different dropdown for states, if the country is USA, then if it is Canada. In a situation like this, If USA is selected, the selected US state will short up correctly, but leadin will capture the conditionally hidden dropdown for Canada’s states default value. Looking at the logs, you then see State = “New Jersey” and Canada’s Providence as “Albert”, the default choice.

  • Hi there –

Do you mind sending me a sample form with this setup so I can visually see it? I sort of understand the issue here but wanted to verify by checking the actual markup.

    Thanks!

    Hi there –

I’m going to mark this ticket as resolved because I can’t help debug it unless I can see a sample form. Please feel free to email a sample page to me with a conditional form so I can take a look if you see this – andy@leadin.com.

    Cheers!
