gravatar profile widget

I’m using Jetpack 2.1.1 with wordpress 3.5.
my webiste is alchemyoftheword.me

The Gravatar Profile Widget will not update. I made one change to my gravatar profile tag line (I added and ampersand) and the widget will not update to reflect that.

I’ve tried:
1) matching my wordpress profile’s tagline to the gravatar’s
2) deleting the wordpress tagline
3) uninstalling the widget and reinstalling it
4) uninstalling jetpack and reinstalling it
5) deleting all references to the widget in the wp_otions table

I am using wp_super_cache. I have made sure that the page regenerates and isn’t loading from the cache. I’ve even turned off caching and emptied my browser’s cache and the super cache.

Help!
