Gravatar Issue

    Hi , I’m setting up a video blog,I ‘ve a gravatar account, work fine on other site.In my discussion set up i can see only the check box for allow etc etc.I can’t figure out how to insert my image.In other post i read that once you create an account and upload an image it should work…Here is the link.

    Are you sure you have the same email address set to the gravatar as you have in the blog admin?

    I notice that you have a G rating on the blog for gravatars, are you sure your gravatar meets this criteria?

    I m not sure what this mean, and yes my e mail adress is the same.

    If you log into your WP Admin and go to Settings->Discussion, there’s a section at the bottom labeled “Avatars,” and there’s a place there for you to select the “Maximum rating” that you’ll allow for avatars (gravatars) on your site. If your site’s maximum rating is set to “G” and someone (including you) has a gravatar that’s rated higher than “G,” then their gravatar is not going to show up on your site.

    (You set your gravatar’s rating on your gravatar.com account.)

    Thanks you guys…My gravatar is a G one and on my blog maximum rating is setting to G, but still not appear…:(

    Is it possible that the email address you’re using for your site’s admin login contains uppercase letters? According to the “Common Questions” section of gravatar.com, they use only lowercase letters in their email addresses, so if you have any uppercase letters in your admin email, it won’t match the gravatar.com email address.

    Have you tried logging in to your gravatar.com account, deleting (one of) the offending email addresses, then adding them back?

    So sorry guys, but I could not manage…but, I found something:When I click on check this avatar on the avatar page it give me this:

    G or better

    PG or better

    R or better

    X or better

    so it look thay I ve other categories set up…I understand that I ve to delete some of the (bad) categorie but how?

    Ok so just to close with a solution ,I had to add another mail and now works fine.
