Graphene theme slider not responding to changes

I created a slider in the graphene theme. At first, I used the “featured image” setting but switched to “first image in post” setting. I have changed all the necessary settings and deleted all the “featured images”, but the site seems to be “stuck”–it’s using pictures that are no longer there and not responding to my saved changes. Please help.
