  • Resolved SSC

    Hey – I have installed Graphene 1.5.4 and I’m loving it. As a newbie, though, I sometimes wonder is it me or is it an actual issue? I activated the Google Maps Shortcode plug-in and created a page, and it worked somewhat – the correct map displayed, but it was fractured and the zoom control was obscured. After playing with it a lot, I tried converting the site to the Twenty Ten theme, and voila! The map is perfect, with absolutely no changes to the page or plug-in. Only problem is, I vastly prefer to use Graphene. Any suggestions? Thanks a bunch –

    URL to your site?

    Here is a page using Graphene, and it is messed up:

    And here is the page I am actually working on, using Twenty Ten (but wanting to use Graphene), looking good:

    Thanks for any assistance –

    Add this to the theme’s Custom CSS option:

    .entry-content .gmsc img {
       max-width: 100%;

    Dude – you are awesome! I’m half-way there — the map is no longer fractured. I still don’t see the zoom control appearing correctly, though. Any ideas?

    Hurm…try max-width: none; instead.

    You are my hero. 😀
    Map is perfect now. Thank you!!

    Hey guys and especially silverks, firstly I want to say thanks for the awesome work you do.

    I have an issue similar to the one above and I cannot get it sorted out.

    I’m running Graphene and have a plugin called wp-GPX Maps running.

    My maps show up fractured too, and my zoom slider is broken.
    ( Please forgive me if this belongs in a new post?)
    Testing site is here:

    I would greatly appreciate any help from you guys to try and get this resolved. I’m going crazy trying to sort it out and deadlines are fast approaching!

    Thanks again for an awesome theme and the solid support you guys offer.
    I’m making my donation shortly!!
