How big should be the featured image so it can be used as the header image in Graphene 2.0?

I tried up to 1920×1440 and it still didn’t show.

    Sorry. 1920×1440 is actually showing.

But all my pictures so far were uploaded in 960×720. Is there any workaround to show them in the header?

There is a known bug with respect to what the theme thinks the header image size is. We’ll fix this in the next update.

However, the default theme width currently is 1170px instead of 960px previously. There is currently no way to force smaller images to be used as header, but here are some options you might want to consider:

    • Reduce the theme’s width to 960px.
    • Upload larger images.
    • Use a plugin like Unique Headers

    Thank you,

I’ll use 1280×960 from now on.

I’ve edited functions.php to fix the issue until the next update.
