    Hi Joe,

I was looking for a replacement for https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-gpx-maps/ as it doesn’t appear to be supported any more and found your plugin which looks great. I did find some small issues for you.

    • Waymark conflicts with WP GPX Maps so you cannot have both active at the same time. All my current WP GPX Maps greyed out.
When I go to make the switch in plugins I need to do it all at once and cannot phase into using your plugin. I do not know if that is a Waymark issue or a WP GPX Maps issue.
    • When I use a GPX file, I can set the line colour to blue but the elevation chart colour to red. Then when I publish the map you will see the line as blue but with a red shadow. If I go to the top right to turn off the blue line, I see the GPX trail in red. I believe the expected behaviour is the trail would disappear? Should the elevation chart also empty when I turn off the line?
    • [Minor] When using a GPX file and tracing my path on the elevation chart, the elevation line on the map may go outside the current view. Just means the user has to move the map focus or zoom, but thought I would mention it.

I would post a link but due to the conflict with WP GPX Maps, I have to deactivate Waymark. 🙁

    Thanks, Nigel

Yes I am seeing this too. It appears that there is a Leaflet JS plugin (Leaflet.FullScreen) conflict, as each plugin uses this. I have not been able to figure out a fix for this :-/

One option might be to change your existing WP GPX Maps Shortcodes to Waymark ones, something like this:

    [Waymark show_elevation=”1″ file_url=”http://yourdomain.com/wp-content/uploads/gpx/track-with-elevation.gpx”%5D

If this works, but you have many to update then you might be able to use a find/replace plugin or update it directly in your database (after backing-up first of course!) to do so in bulk. Happy to help further if required.

Thanks for pointing this out, I will need to spend more time to get to the bottom of this one.

    Thanks Joe,

I have so many different maps on my site and not all have a GPX, some even have multiple and contain various overrides so a simple Replace All approach isn’t going to work. I may just decide to go offline for a day or two and make all the changes.

I’ll leave this open so I get notified if you find a fix for the elevation colour underlying the trail line colour issue. 🙂

    Hi @canuck069,

I have fixed this issue in the latest release (v0.9.28).

Please let me know if you encounter any issues.

    Cheers,

    Joe
