  • Hi,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

Make sure you use this field mapping, that should do the trick:

    Hi there,

I have it mapped exactly like your example. However, whenever I check the XML feed I can’t find the g:product_type for any item. I even manually refreshed the feed, and waited a day to see if it would adjust by itself.

    Hi,

I think you mapped it to the “category” and not to the “category path“.

I can tell because you do have the g:product_type values in your feed but those contain the category ID’s of your category mappings:

Well, for some reason whenever I check the feed the product types are set correctly right now – not sure why.

However, I did notice that some products in the XML feed have only a single word for their respective category – whilst others are using the full path:

    Feed Examples

I have two feeds. One global feed & and a Dutch feed.

The global feed has both the g:product_type & g:product_type_path fields while the Dutch one only has the g:product_type field. They are both mapped identically.

I’d like the Dutch feed to be like the Global feed with the last category in the path for the g:product_type field.

Still sounds like a possible caching issue to me.

When you are running a caching plugin or doing server-side caching make sure to exclude the product feed URL’s from being cached.

Sorry, I edited the comment while u were responding. Not sure if you can see if it’s edited.

yes so those categories have not been categorised by you, that is why WooCommerce puts those in the uncategorised category like shown in the feed: https://imgur.com/a/iypTKCs

I understand that is what happening for that specific product. I was asking why one feed has both g:product_type and g:product_type_path while the other feed only has g:product_type in it. They are both mapped similarly.

I also added both feeds as never cache exclusions just now.

    Hi,

    Apologies, I misunderstood your question.

Our plugin doesn’t have a product_type_path field available in the drop-downs. Did you not add it in the field mapping as a custom field perhaps? Can you share a screenshot of your field mapping page?

I noticed that I had the g:product_type filled in twice for the global feed. I am correcting my mistake. Perhaps that is the reason why it automatically added g:product_type_path.

For some reason the g:shipping is now not showing up on the global feed, but they are showing up for the Dutch feed.

Here are the images to both feeds’ field mapping: https://imgur.com/a/0hx5U0I

The g:product_type seem to be fine right now.

When you create a feed for, lets say France, than the plugin will only be able to add shipping costs to your feed when it finds shipping costs that are specifically set for France in WooCommerce.

You might be able to get all shipping costs in your feed when you enable this global plugin setting: https://www.dropbox.com/s/sz9nugoaw5eowj2/Allcountries.png?dl=0

Let us know if this solved the issue for you.
