Got this plugin installed out of nowhere

    When accesing my dashboard a few days ago I saw this was installed out of nowhere.

    I checked my plugins page and the plugin isn’t listed there, but I can access the settings page by going to Tools > Redux Framework.

    Also, the plugin doesn’t appear on my FTP plugins folder.

    Is it possible that maybe other plugin is using this framework and during an update Redux got installed?

    Chances are it is embedded inside the theme you are using, or another plugin. The easiest way to tell is to disable all plugins. If you still see Redux running, it’s within your theme. If not, enable one plug in at a time until you see the Redux menu. Then you will know where Redux is embedded. Good luck.

    Yes, for sure. Redux is a framework people use to build interfaces. So another theme or plugin probably installed it.

    In our next version we have a page that shows exactly what theme or plugin is using Redux, but it’s in beta. 😉
