I recently had an old, old WordPress blog (2.x — no more than 2.5 I’m sure) move hosting. That is to say, I was smart enough to back up the DB, but not the files; so the theme, and the plugins (some of which don’t exist or work with recent WP) are gone.
Now what? I’ve created a new DB on the new hosting, and imported the SQL; but even if I install WP 3.0, will it work? Will it upgrade the schema? How can I at least save my 70+ posts? Everything else I can compromise.
