• Hey everyone, I apreciate your help to the fullest!

    I got a domain name 24 hours ago. http://www.thegrowingroom.net

I have had a server with blue host for a a while now.

I went on my Control Pannel and put the information in to make a separate public_html for my site and did all that stuff.

I uploaded wordpress to the site, renamed the CONFIG file and all of that.

Now when I go to install it at http://www.thegrowingroom.net/wp-admin/install.php

    it gives me this error!

    Error establishing a database connection

This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at localhost. This could mean your host’s database server is down.

    * Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
    * Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
    * Are you sure that the database server is running?

If you’re unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host. If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums.

Soooo I don’t know what to do!

I make a separate file called index.htm and uploaded it as a test.

So when i go to http://www.thegrowingroom.net/index.htm — I DO get to see that test file. SO i think the domain is ready to go…

    Ahhh, can anyone help me?
