    Hi,

    I have changed the site url, the old url was connected to Google site kit.

    I’m trying to connect the new site to site kit.

    Comes up with the error “google_api_connection_fail”

    Addtional info “Unknown Error (code: invalid ‘client_id’ or ‘client_secret’)”.

    Thanks for reaching out. As it sounds like you performed a URL change while Site Kit was connected can please share the following and we can advise on this further:

    1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.
    2. Before your URL change was Site Kit working as expected, with the dashboards displaying data?
    3. Did you also switch to a new hosting provider?

    If you didn’t perform a site reset before switching domains you can do so now and see if the same error occurs (Tools > Available Tools > Reset Site Kit). This will clear any old URL records on the Site Kit service.

    Note that after you Site Kit you and any other connected administrators will need to follow the setup process once more, before then connecting the previously connected modules.
