 * i downloaded and installed the google webmaster tools plugin and from there i
   got a little lost. google was asking me upload a file for verification but it
   did not tell me where to upload it and i also noticed that before i asked this
   question and the plugin was activated my website had a message at the top for
   everyone to see that said “paste your google verification here” so i deactivated
   it until i get help. thanks
