    Hi,

I’m working with the Google Search Console and in All In One Seo Pack there’s a line for Google Webmaster Tools where you enter a verification number generated by Google. I’ve done that, but apparently in the Search Console, you should make a separate “property” for an http:// version, a www. version, and a non-www. version. All 3 of those need to be verified, and it says not to delete the verification numbers after they have put in.

So, the issue is this. There’s one line in the General Settings of All In One SEO pack for this, but 3 different verification numbers need to be entered and kept. Any ideas on how to go about doing this?

    Thanks for your help.

If you want to verify both, I’d recommend using a different verification method, like GA or file upload.

As Michael said, if you already have a Google Analytics account for the site, then you would select that method for all three added “sites” in the search console control panel. I’ve done that in the past and it has worked for me.

You’re going to want to go into Google Analytics under the property settings for the account and link the site to GA anyway.

You could also add the html file to the top level of your site and verify that way – which is what he means by file upload.

You should also consider adding your site to Bing Webmaster Tools, as well.
