# Google visits?

 * Hello Jason, how are you doing? 🙂
 * I was wondering if you could shed some light as to what those visits I keep getting
   over and over are:

 * Are those google bots? Because I had already set Slismtat to ignore bots from
   logging.
 * Please let me know.

 * if you don’t have Browscap installed (as it looks from your screenshot), then
   Slimstat might not be able to understand that a given visitor is indeed a bot.
   And the filter won’t be triggered. If you can’t/don’t want install Browscap, 
   you can always blacklist those “visitors” by IP address. Google has a known list
   of IP addresses for its bots.

 * Thanks for the reply.
 * I have uninstalled Browscap long ago, because it seemed to have cause a bigger
   page load and my site took longer to load.
 * Can you please point me out to the list of Google’s bots IPs so I can blacklist
   them?

 * Thanks, but those IPs are too many unfortunately to add the one by one.
 * Any easier way except installing Browscap? Because I’ve been receing too many
   of them lately.
