    Missing field “hiringOrganization”

According to Google Search Console, the jobs do not fit the correct schema. The field specified above is not present in the structured data. This is an error, not a warning.

I have specified hiring organization in the settings. I have added the hiring organization widget to each job. Yet, it does not pass.

    Please advise.

  • Upon further investigation, I found the bug. I did a fresh install on a new site. The hiringOrganization only shows if the Apply now button is used. If I use an inline apply form, the hiringOrganization does not display. To overcome this bug, do not use the inline apply.

However, if you use the Apply Now modal, the X to close the pop-up appears behind layers in some themes. Using zindex: 999 as previously suggested in CSS, does not help for these templates. (Divi theme is one affected). It would be great to add a “Close” or “Cancel” button at the bottom of the form next to the “submit” button.
