I would have appreciated a notice that costs of using the API can be higher than expected.
Best would be if the app could do a rough estimation about how many strings are to be translated.
As mentioned I ran it on a small business site so I was surprised that the plugin would do 2 Mio API requests.

We ping the API with batches of content/strings that needs to be translated to reduce the requests. We are also saving the translation in your database so the number of requests should be minimal.
Charges are done based on the number of translated characters, so without actually looking at the data that was sent for translation, it’s hard to figure out why there were so many requests (you said the website is small).
Thank you for the suggestions. We are going to do some research and figure out if it’s possible to estimate the costs and perhaps automatically disable this feature when it reaches a threshold, of course, informing the user about this and letting him overwrite.
If that is not possible, we will look to inform the user better about the costs that can be generated by using this function.
