Support » Theme: Customizr » google tag manager and Customizr

  • Hi,I saw an article how to incorporate Google Analytics in the child theme of Customizr. My question is: is it possible as well to incorporate Google Tag manager into Customizr, using the Customizr child theme? You have to add a small piece of javascript and a non – java snippt to the code of the website (see.) Thanks for your reply!

  • Hi Michieljf,

Currently, we’re only certain on the provided process mentioned in the article:

    Thank you!

I’m also looking for help here. @michieljf Did you manage to work this out. GA works ok, but its GSC that does not work (and therefore disconnects Search Console from my site. The specific piece of information that I need is

where to insert content that means it is immediately after the opening <body> tag on each page.

Do I need to make these amends in the custom code area? Or directly in my functions.php file?

Sorry, but why not adding the code in a PHP widget ? I did it and it works fine.
Please tell me if I am wrong.
By the way, be careful, Google tag manager slows my websites, not sur eif it’s related to customizr.
