  • in google tag manager, i have to put additional code in: immediately after the opening <body> tag

    where should i put the code?

  • <body> tag probably is not in the headers or footers.

    Thanks for your reply. Not sure I understand what you have written. Both the methods I used are supposed to place the script above the </body> tag. I used Insert Headers and Footers plugin in exactly the way used by Adam of WPCrafter.com in his video https://youtu.be/mXip1TTWuuQ and of course typically he didn’t have any problem. Any ideas to insert the code and get it working? I’m not a techie

    Got same issue, did you ever get resolution?

    Google Tag Mgr says put code at start of <body> but the ‘header and footer’ plugin only has option to put the code before the end of </body> tag.

    Assuming there is code inbetween does this allow Google Tag Mgr to work?

    appreciate any update, would have thought this is a common question…
