  • in google tag manager, i have to put additional code in: immediately after the opening <body> tag

    where should i put the code?

  • <body> tag probably is not in the headers or footers.

    Thanks for your reply. Not sure I understand what you have written. Both the methods I used are supposed to place the script above the </body> tag. I used Insert Headers and Footers plugin in exactly the way used by Adam of in his video and of course typically he didn’t have any problem. Any ideas to insert the code and get it working? I’m not a techie

    Got same issue, did you ever get resolution?

    Google Tag Mgr says put code at start of <body> but the ‘header and footer’ plugin only has option to put the code before the end of </body> tag.

    Assuming there is code inbetween does this allow Google Tag Mgr to work?

    appreciate any update, would have thought this is a common question…
