Hello,

When I test my pages with Google Structured Data Testing Tool, I get 3 errors and 2 warnings. It seems to me those errors come from the theme. I tried the Schema plugin but my website did not load at all. Just blank page. I am using Yoast now, but the errors are the followings.

Blog is not a known valid target type for the mainContentOfPage property.

A value for the author field is required.

A value for the publisher field is required.

The dateModified field is recommended. Please provide a value if available.

The mainEntityOfPage field is recommended. Please provide a value if available.

Do you know how to fix those?

Thanks for the quick response. I deleted itemprop=”mainContentOfPage” from those pages. However, I still get the following two errors. I actually would like to have those.

A value for the author field is required.
A value for the publisher field is required.

Is there anyway to add those to the theme? Help is appreciated. 🙂

Hi there,
Olsen Light does not have these tags by default. Googlebot can read JSON-LD (https://json-ld.org/) which means you dont have to add custom tags to your HTML anymore, especially if you are not familiar with doing this.
Now you will need to check here https://yoast.com/json-ld/ for more details on this and use any of these https://el.wordpress.org/plugins/search/json+ld/ popular plugins to add structured data in Olsen.
