    Hi,

I have problems with my wordpress/ woocommerce website & google site kit. I get errors in analystics, searchconsole(server give a unknown reaction). I used the health check & troubleshooting & used it also on my theme. when i use it everything works, also when i disable the tool again, a couple of ours later and i get the errors again…

Anyone an idea to solve this?

Thanks for reaching out @craven89. Based on your comments, if no errors are occurring while in troubleshooting mode, this indicates a conflict with a third party plugin or your active theme. To determine more on this, please share the following:

    1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.
    2. What is the error you’re seeing within the Site Kit dashboard? Please share the full error, or provide a screenshot of what you’re encountering. You can use a service such as Imgur or Jumpshare to share a screenshot, while using the form above to share this privately.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above.

Many thanks for sharing the additional insights, very useful to see the error that’s appearing. What we’ll do next, as the issue doesn’t occur in troubleshooting mode, is try to pinpoint a plugin that may be conflicting with your Site Kit dashboard. In order to do so, please follow the steps below:

    1. Navigate to “Plugins > Health Check & Troubleshooting >Troubleshoot”. (You’ll need to have the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin active).
    2. Check to ensure that the error no longer appears.
    3. Back in troubleshooting mode click on the “Enable” option next to any additional plugin one at a time, before then visiting your Site Kit dashboard checking does the error reappear (each time, after every you enable each plugin via troubleshooting mode). You’ll also need to reload/refresh the dashboard each time.
    4. As soon as the error re-appears you’ll know which plugin you last enabled which may be resulting in the error. We can then check the configurations for that plugin. Let me know what plugin you last enabled and I’ll perform some checks.
    5. If you’re unable to determine a plugin is responsible continue below to check your theme.
    6. Back in troubleshooting mode select a different theme, the theme normally activated on your site.
    7. Check the Site Kit dashboard once more.
    8. If the error does appear when your current theme active, this indicates a possible feature or configuration with your theme. At this point we can do some checks.

Let me know if you need any assistance with the above. We have more detailed instructions for the above added to the plugin website.

Hi i have tested it (took quite long cause when i enable/ disable plugins it works for couple of hours…).

Probleem is in the woocommerce plugin itself, when woocommerce disabled it keeps working now for over a day so the problem is in woocommerce…

    Hope you have a solution… 🙂

Thanks for the update @craven89. If using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin as suggested above, you don’t need to manually deactivate other plugins to test, all plugins are “disabled” while in troubleshooting mode. Good however that you were able to determine the cause.

To troubleshoot any particular configuration resulting in this conflict further, please share the following:

    1. If you temporary deactivate only WooCommerce do you encounter the same error on the Site Kit dashboard? I ask as I see you have other WooCommerce related plugins.
    2. When checking the Site Kit dashboard from a Chrome browser incognito window does the same occur? If so, please share any browser console errors that appear, or a screenshot of the errors. You can use the same form previously used to share this privately if preferred.

As you’ve been able to determine the cause, have you also reaching out in the WooCommerce support forums about this?

I have only disabled woocommerce now and it is working fine now…
Maybe a combination of plugins who cause the errors?

Also in incognito mode the problem is still persist when everything is enabled ( also woocommerce).

Thanks for the update @craven89. Based on your update, I’ll perform some checks with WooCommerce and a similar setup to your own. It’s possible, as you’ve indicated, that there may be a multi party plugin conflict.

While I’m setting up an environment similar to your own, can you share whether you’ve reset your WooCommerce settings at any stage (WooCommerce > Settings > Reset Settings)? Note that this will reset in you having to configure the plugin once more, however, it might be a good check to perform assuming you are comfortable setting up WooCommerce once more.

    Hi James,

In the beginning i had also a lot of problems (& still having now 🙂 ), i did reset my woocommerce, i even did a new installation of wordpress from scratch but still mutiple problems keep happening … now i build the website (+- 90-95% ready) but it is very frustrating so many errors, my other website (same theme & all same plugins that is working without a problem…)

But yes i reset woocommerce & wordpress also full new installation…

    Plugin Support James Osborne

    (@jamesosborne)

Sorry to hear that. I can imagine such problems causing frustration, in particular when it’s an online shop.

Given that the issue doesn’t arise with WooCommerce deactivated, what we’ll try next is to determine a multi party plugin conflict. Using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin once more, can you activate only Site Kit and WooCommerce, before then checking the Site Kit dashboard once more? The steps involved are below:

    1. Login to your live site from a Chrome browser incognito window.
    2. Navigate to “Plugins > Health Check & Troubleshooting > Troubleshoot” (You’ll need to have this plugin activated, as you did previosly)
    3. From the same screen click on the “Available Plugins” tab at the top right and then click on the “Enable” option next to “Site Kit by Google“ while also doing the same with WooCommerce.
    4. Visit the Site Kit dashboard once more, checking does the issue remain

Let me know how you get on with the above, or ask if you have any questions. If the same occurs when following the steps above, please share your Site Health status (Tools > Site Health > Status), which differs from your Site Health information previously shared. Given you’re encounter server related errors this may help indicate any such problems.

    Thread Starter craven89

    (@craven89)

    Hi James,

With only woocommerce & google site kit enabled (and health & check plugin) it keeps working fine…

it worked fine yesterday (afternoon & evening) and today in afternoon tested again and it worked fine…

    Plugin Support James Osborne

    (@jamesosborne)

Excellent, thanks for the update @craven89. In that case, it sounds like it is a multi party plugin conflict. I tested a WooCoomerce site with Site Kit although without the full set of plugins you have, without encountering an issues.

To troubleshooting what the potential conflict may be, can you follow the previous 4 steps in troubleshooting mode (enabling only Site Kit and WooCommerce). After doing so, please enable each other plugin in troubleshooting mode, one by one, checking for the same error each time. At the point where the error re-appears, you’ll know which plugin is causing the conflict. I can also do some testing if you are able to determine this, or we can review the configurations for this plugin.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above.

    Thread Starter craven89

    (@craven89)

Ok i will try it, will take some time (cause in the beginning everything most of the time works, after a time the problem comes up, so could be over a week of testing, but i’ll keep you up-to-date…

    Plugin Support James Osborne

    (@jamesosborne)

Not a problem @craven89, take your time. I’ll also be dedicating some time setting up the same environment to test from on my side today.

    Plugin Support James Osborne

    (@jamesosborne)

Just to let you know that I’ve set up an environment similar to your own. In my case I don’t encounter the same errors, however, there are multiple configurations possible within many of the plugins you have active.

Note also that I wasn’t able to install the same theme or plugin related to that theme, given it’s a commercial theme. If you do find the issue reoccurs, please use the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin as suggested above to try and determine any multi party plugin conflict. Once done I can check the plugins involved.
