    Hi,

I had installated GOOGLE SITE KIT on our woocommerce but we can’t understand why we don’t see any “e-commerce revenue” on the GA4 connected in.
We can see the number of the purchase but not the value of them.

In “G site kit” settings all services are “connected” with green flag and also the tag manager find tags correctly.

Have I to add some plugin? Or maybe is there some wrong tag manager setting to modify?

    Can you help me?

Thanks in advance for your reply

Thanks for reaching out @pierretappeti. Are you looking to view purchase related data within the Site Kit dashboard, or looking to view the price and other meta information from analytics.google.com based on your WooCommerce store?

At present, if you’re using Site Kit alone to insert your Google Analytics snippet, the plugin can can display basic Google Analytics data within the plugin dashboard, however, the data shown here won’t display WooCommerce specific data. We do have an enhanced conversion tracking feature within Site Kit, that when enabled does collect additional WooCommerce specific events. We are expanding the scope of these events, to collect the product_id and other metadata. For the purchase event we will also collect the price value. Such data will be available from analytics.google.com.

There are WooCommerce Google Analytics specific plugins or extensions that may provide additional WooCommerce specific features.

Note also that you can use Site Kit with other more dedicated WooCommerce specific Analytics or data related plugins if you wish, as Site Kit can still display data based on the connected Google Analytics property without inserting the snippet. This can be useful if you are using your other Analytics plugins to insert the snippet.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above.

    Hi James,

    thank you for your reply.

I confirm you that I want to view the price and other meta information from analytics.google.com based on your WooCommerce store.

The “Enhanced Conversion Tracking” otpion was already active but in GA4 I still view only  the number of the purchase but not the value of them.

I also tried to install the plugin “GA Google Analytics” by “Jeff Starr” but the problem seems not solved yet…

maybe some wrong tag manager setting to modify?

Thanks for the additional information @pierretappeti. Google Analytics won’t collect the price of the items or such metadata by default. It is planned to collect such data going forward, but not at present. Have you tried the Google Analytics for WooCommerce plugin? From the checks I performed, it looks like this plugin does collect such data.

    Hi James,

    thank you for your reply.

I tried to install the plugin “Google Analytics for WooCommerce” and after 3 days o trial I confirm you that doesnt’ work correctly.

I can’t see the value of purchases and now I also can’t see the number of that! 🙁
so… I don’t really know how to proceed

    Kind regards

No problem, happy to help out where possible. In this case Site Kit doesn’t capture any price or other metadata at present for WooCommerce users.

I tried to install the plugin “Google Analytics for WooCommerce” and after 3 days o trial I confirm you that doesnt’ work correctly.

Sorry to hear that. Did you try reaching out to the team and asking them about capturing the price? That may be the best approach, as this is an officially supported WooCommerce plugin.

Great. Fingers crossed you’ll get sorted. I’ll close this support topic, but do ask if you have any plugin specific queries and I’d be happy to assist. Best of luck!
