    Hi

Could you pls advise me if the mapping over here is correct ? it’s for google shopping

Also, should I include every variation of a product ? like different sizes, because they look like this in google merchant center:

If I go like that, for google shopping ads I suppose they are going to run ads of the different variations in sizes, not just the parent products.

    Hi,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

I had a look at your field mapping:

    • You forgot to fill in the PEN prefix for your sale price field mapping that you added
    • The rest of your field mapping looks good. Bear-in-mind though that this is no guarantee you will not see warnings or notifications in your Google Merchant Center. Depending on the type of products you sell Google might want you to add some other fields. Also the data that sits in your feed itself might not meet Google’s requirements

With regards to your variation question: yes, we advise you to add every single product variation as they differ on size, color and so on and therefor might be most relevant for your consumers.

    Hope this helps?

    thanks for your answer !

since I have all the variations added, do you know if all of them are going to appear in the google shopping ads or just the parent versions ?

Also, how to add the gender field in the mapping ? where is the value for that variable ?

    Hi,

Parent products never make it to your feed and as such also not to your Google Merchant Center. We have explained in this blog post why: https://adtribes.io/can-i-add-mother-products-to-my-feed-and-leave-out-the-variations/

On the field mapping page just hit the orange “+ add field mapping” button, that will result in an extra row to appear. In the left drop-down you select gender, in the right drop-down you select the attribute that holds your gender values.

there is this “product description” attribute in the mapping, but there are 2 possible values for that: product description and product short description, how to includes both values ? because I know that for google shopping ads,the keywords are base also in the descriptions

Google has only 1 description field in their feed so you need to chose what description you would like to add in your feed. The “product description” or the “product short description”.
