• After installing this plugin, when doing on Google search on the URL, I only get this in the search:
“Plum Consignment – fresh designer consignment + sweet deals
    plumgood.com/
consign; plum good stuff. press · plum for a purpose · partners … Crystal Stephen, owner of PLUM Consignment, opened her doors . … Denver, Colorado 80238 ..”

I do not get each page title with the snippet below. Is there something that I need to set in Yoast SEO to correct this. Someone please advise. I have been racking my brain to figure this out. I have other non-wp sites that show the titles and snippets in Google with me doing nothing to it.

  • Have you tried adding descriptions manually in Page/Post edit?

You could have a look at this basic guide tech.graphicline.co.za/build-a-wordpress-website/chapter-1-set-up-site/meta-tags/wp-seo-plugin/ for suggested settings for automatic title/descriptions

Thank you for responding to my post. I have added the titles and descriptions in Yoast SEO area for them on each page if that’s what you mean. I went to the link that you gave me. Yoast SEO pages are slightly different now. I changed some of the my templates codes to match some of their recommendations. I changed to title tag in my header.php to be: <title><?php wp_title(”); ?></title> It was <title><?php woo_title(”); ?></title> as suggested. Nothing has changed. Nothing has changed when searching on Google. Though it may not happen instantly. My site is http://www.plumgood.com, It is a Woo theme.

    Thank you,
    Allison
