First, let me say thanks for the plugin. I’ve been using it for a while with no problems. But recently, I got a notice from Google Console on June 25th “New issue found: Referenced AMP URL is not an AMP” I saw there was an update to the plugin, so I updated, and gave it some time to take affect, but I’m still getting errors on my console. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong or what has changed. Can you let me know what I should be doing? Thanks!

  • Hi @laurahartwigdesign,
Thanks for using the plugin, and sorry for this issue with the AMP page.

It looks like that URL above is redirecting to the same URL, but without /amp. So it’s not a valid AMP page.

Would you be able to flush permalinks? You might already know how to do this, but simply go to /wp-admin > Settings > Permalinks, and click “Save changes.” There’s no need to actually make a change there.

    Hi Ryan,
Thanks for getting back to me and I apologize for bothering you. Turns out I had another plugin running at the same time as yours (Facebook Instant Articles & Google AMP Pages by PageFrog) and that was causing the problem. I deactivated it and all good now. Thanks again for the great plugin and for the support.

    Hi @laurahartwigdesign,
That’s great to hear that you fixed it, and thanks a lot for letting me know how.

We’re here to help, no need to apologize 🙂

    Have a great weekend.

    Ryan
    Thanks for your support.
    I just did this:

Would you be able to flush permalinks? You might already know how to do this, but simply go to /wp-admin > Settings > Permalinks, and click “Save changes.” There’s no need to actually make a change there.

how would I know if this fixed it.
