Google Search Console Issues – URL Marked No Index

    I am using YOAST and have successfully submitted Sitemaps to Google.

    I noticed a few days ago that the bulk of my posts/pages were showing up as excluded.

    Now today I get a note that there are 25 links that are ‘Submitted URL marked ‘noindex’’

    I’ve reviewed some of the posts that are included in Google Console and I don’t see any from the few I’ve reviewed that have any noindex tags.

    This is one example:

    I’ve reviewed settings on posts and in Yoast dashboard and I do not see anything that would have led to a noindex of posts.

    Any ideas?

    @avcobb123 We checked on the page URL you provided and don’t find any indicator that the page is set to noindex. The robots metatag is set to index, and we didn’t find anything in the robots.txt of your site that would prevent the page from being crawled/indexed.

    If you check the page in the URL inspector can you tell us what the results are?

    Hi thanks–so it says URL is not available to Google and then if I click Test Live URL it says URL is available to Google. Seems to be the case with other URLs listed there. IS this just a case of Google not crawling the site recently? Says on most of these links the last crawl was mid March.

    Thanks for your confirmation. This is very odd and seems an issue specific to Google Search Console itself. While we are not sure why you’re having the issue, we recommend you inspect by using the Test Live URL option for all the pages that are marked as noindex to force Google crawlers to recrawl the relevant pages.

    Once Google recrawls the relevant pages, the relevant warning shall disappear itself.
