I would like to remove a white google search box bar that has been appearing on all my blog posts and pages recently. I do not recall installing any plugin for this feature. I am running WP4.2.2. It’s visible on the first two front page posts http://songiuno.com, and any other posts and pages that are clicked on to view.

I have been using a parament child theme for years. About two weeks or so ago I decided to try out the raindrops theme so activated it and three plugins that the theme required: Breadcrumb NavXT, WP-PageNavi, and ZenCache. A week ago I started seeing the google seach bar show up on posts. After a week I decided not to stay with the theme, partly because of this annoying search bar, so reverted back to parament (my child theme version) and deactivated the three plugins. The google search bar remains.

I don’t know where it came from or how to get rid of it. Does anybody have any ideas?

I’m starting to think it’s malware on my PC that’s doing this, tho can’t get anyone to confirm seeing or not seeing this search bar from a different location.

I saw that search bar for sure, but now when I visited the site again, its gone, seems to me like a caching issue you might have encountered

Wow! Have you ever seen a plugin you didn’t like? 🙂

I see the site search but not anything from Google.

Gagan Deep Singh yes it’s gone now. I emptied my cache several times, maybe it just took a long time to take or something. Thanks for the look!

wslade, doesn’t everyone have a long list of installed plugins? 🙂

I’m glad you got the problem sorted. I’m going over your list of plugin to see what I am missing.
