    alienage.gr

    Give it a look…

    Your domain is .gr, google shows results depending on the location you are so can you share the link that google creates to display results in which you find the issue?

    When I type “alienage.gr”, google results display my website with wrong title and description.

    This is the link in chrome https://www.google.gr/search?sugexp=chrome,mod=2&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=alienage.gr+

    Is it maybe a seo or website code problem?

    ok, you have duplicated meta description and meta keyords in your header, you are using a seo plugin and I’m guessing it’s not configured correct for the home page (just guessing this part);
    Check the seo plugin and make sure you don’t have 2 meta names like you have for your home page:
    line: 9-10:

    <meta name="description" content="Games, ταινίες, σειρές, μουσική - Οι τέχνες μέσα από τα μάτια των εξωγήινων" />
    <meta name="keywords" content="games, music, movies, tv, shows, tv shows, news, reviews, παιχνίδια, μουσική, ταινίες, σειρές, νέα, ειδήσεις, κριτικές" />

    line: 55-56:

    <meta name="description" content="Games, ταινίες, σειρές, μουσική - Οι τέχνες μέσα από τα μάτια των εξωγήινων" />
    <meta name="keywords" content="games, movies, tv, shows, tv shows, music, miscellaneous, reviews, news, παιχνίδια, ταινίες, τηλεόραση, σειρές, μουσική, κριτικές, ειδήσεις, νέα, culture" />

    while for the messages page:
    line 9-10:

    <meta name="description" content="Games, ταινίες, σειρές, μουσική - Οι τέχνες μέσα από τα μάτια των εξωγήινων" />
    <meta name="keywords" content="games, music, movies, tv, shows, tv shows, news, reviews, παιχνίδια, μουσική, ταινίες, σειρές, νέα, ειδήσεις, κριτικές" />

    line 60:
    <meta name="description" content="[cartpauj-pm]" />
    -no meta name = “keywords” … don’t know why google does what it does but this should be corrected on your part.

    OK, I fixed the home page issue and I left only the seo plugin options. Do you think the messages page is a serious issue?

    Having a message page score good in google is no help but from my point of view you shouldn’t worry about that one at all.

    Well I fixed the homepage issue, but why does google display the homepage with a category title?

    I see ” AlienAge.gr » Games Features “

    And in description only the link…

    yap strange … to be able to debug this you should start from deactivating the plugin, setting up the meta name and description manually, waiting for google to reindex your site, see if it still displays the category in the title… this way you will know if the plugin is causing that (most often the plugin is responsible for this).

    I deactivated the plugin and wrote again the meta name and description. How long whould I wait for google to reindex the site?

    If it doesn’t work, do you have other solution?

    My websites (google.ro) usually take around 2 days. Google takes that information from somewhere on your site’s <head> you need to track down the code that generates this issue, let’s hope is from the plugin.

    Furthermore, I realised that the homepage is not cached in google. Is there any solution for this?

    I post again the issue with new facts.

    Previously, I used to use the platinum seo plugin and then I realised that I have duplicate meta tags. One from the plugin and one manual. I deleted the manual, deactivated the plugin and finally installed the yoast seo. The fact is that whenever I search for my website’s posts in google, there are only old ones and not the new. In addition, the homepage titles displays a irrelevant category, whereas the description only the link. The fact is that googlebot crawled my website 13 hours ago and nothing changed. What seems to be the issue?

    Please guys, is there any solution? I’m in real trouble…
