Hello, @torgut
Thank you for your question. If you don’t want to show all that places on your map, Google Maps Easy plugin has required option – you should enable “Hide POI” in your map settings: http://prntscr.com/kbblnp

Well, I know that, but it’s only available for PRO. Of course you are free and very fairly so, to reserve a significant number of the plugin’s features to paying users… however, it’s not fair at all changing the rules of the game after its start.
When I chose this plugin Google POI’s wouldn’t show, no need to activate this PRO only option. It was under those terms that I created about one hundred of maps. Well… you have the power, what else can I say…..
Hello, @torgut
We are sorry for that inconvenience, but I specially for you checked this information from our plugin developer – “Hide POI” option always was in PRO version of plugin, we don’t change it.
I think this issue comes due to changes in map settings by Google. They are making a really big amount of changes in their maps this year.
Also, maybe you changed your map style in plugin settings. Some of them can have points of interest by default.
So, I want to assure you, that we didn’t change “Hide POI” option functionality in Google Maps Easy plugin to earn some additional funds. If we want to do it, we’ll add some new interesting functions to our plugin.

You will have to agree with me that’s strange – to say the least – why would someone use a PRO feature for something which exist BEFORE by default, to everybody?
I mean, if the PRO feature would SHOW GOOGLE POI, instead of HIDE GOOGLE POI, that would make sense.
Additionally, if the issue is Google fault, I have to assume that the PRO feature we are talking about must be inoperative and therefore removed from the settings panel.
I changed nothing at all, as I said in my original post 🙂
