[Resolved] Google plus widget display issue

  • Hey,

    I’m having some problems displaying a Google plus widget, it’s the “add this page/person to your circles” widget ..

    I’ve used several different plugins, but no matter which one I use I can’t seem to get it to display.

    I’m using the easy mashable social plugin from incrediblogger here –
    http://www.incrediblogger.net/wordpress/plugins/4-great-plugins-wordpress-bloggers/

    This is the site I’m trying to install it to –

    http://bestpluginsforwp.com/

    It’s just appearing as blank space.

    I’m sure there’s something I’m not doing, but can’t think what it is – it’s probably really straight forward – just can’t think what it is lol.

    Any idea’s?

    Big thanks!

  • The Facebook iframe code has a height of 80px and it is covering up the the Google +1 Widget.

    Modify the iframe to only have a height of 30px in this code (already edited for you):

    <iframe
    src="//www.facebook.com/plugins/like.php?href=http://www.facebook.com/bestpluginsforwp&send=false&layout=standard&width=270&show_faces=true&action=like&colorscheme=light&font&height=30&appId=234513819928295" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" style="border:none; overflow:hidden; width:270px; height:30px;"></iframe>

    Hi Rachel, sorry if this is a double post, my last seems to have disappeared :s

    I’ve tried your suggestion and changed the iframe height to 30px, but the Google plus widget still isn’t showing.

    I’ve got it now thanks!
