[resolved] Google Plus uses Testimonial Widget text instead of post title/info (3 posts)

For some reason, when I share my post on my Google Plus page, the title on Google plus ends up being whatever testimonial is being displayed in the widget

This happens when I press my share buttons from my site (AddThis widget) AND when I simply paste the url into my google plus account (without using the share buttons at all).

I've tried sharing on Google + on multiple computers and I get the same result. It is only on Google plus though. None of the other social sites repeat this behavior.

Any idea why this would be happening?

    Here's a link to my site: http://conversation-skills-core.com

    Thanks for any help!

If you're running testimonials widget in the sidebar, uncheck "Enable Review Schema?". The problem is that there's no authoritative schema authored for your page. As such, any schema that's detected in the page is polled.

I've added FAQ https://aihrus.zendesk.com/entries/28486633-Google-Plus-or-social-sharing-uses-Testimonial-Widget-text-instead-of-post-title-info to further discuss this as needed.

Hey thanks Michael that worked. Note: I had to clear my supercache and then internet (firefox) cache before the changes took effect on my computer.

    But worked like a charm.
