Hey there,

One other thing for now too . . . where exactly is and can we change the actual image/icon that shows on people’s phones after the app is downloaded? Right now it is not the right image/icon and we need to change what shows on their phones.

We have tried a lot of settings in the Google Play Console and in the WPMobile app settings and it does not seem to change.

So, we decided to just ask you directly what we need to do to get the image/icon that appears on their phone after download to be correct and updated?

Hey

After the change on your WordPress admin, request an update on the wpmobile dashboard to get a new .apk.

This .apk need to be uploaded to the play console:

Howdy…thanks for getting back…

We had the logo right in the WPMobile admin setting originally but the app image on the phone after install seems to be pulling from the splashscreen. So, should I make the logo and splash screen what we want? Have you seen this issue before?

Thanks for following up on this so much! I updated that and published it again. So, this will fix that logo issue?

Will folks have to uninstall and reinstall for the image to show right?

Or, will it just take a little time for the right image on the installed app to begin showing now?

I am monitoring it and will let you know when the right image on the installed app on the phone begins to show otherwise.

After the update on the Google Play console, your users will get an app update on their phone with the new logo, it’s automatic 😉
