• When I try to insert a photo all website users can upload from Google Drive but only the administrator can upload from Google Photos. This could be because the administrator as the email address of the Google account. How can I set it so all editing users can access Google Photos as well as Google drive?

@mikesoligeo I am not 100% sure why this is happening maybe Google changed some things. This is what I found https://www.blog.google/products/photos/simplifying-google-photos-and-google-drive/ could that be a reason ?

Also another reason probably because the plugin is only using “https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file” scope which means only google drive items will be shown.

I am going to make some changes to the plugin to see if I can add more scopes.

    Thanks for the report.

It’s been a while since my original post and your prompt reply, but I am now trying to use this again and I still have the problem.

It doesn’t seem to be a Google Drive problem. When editing a post the “Select Image” button under the Featured Image field only appears if I login as administrator. If I’m logged in as another user with permission to edit the post, the “Select Image” button is missing. It behave similarly with the Image block.

@mikesoligeo There shouldn’t be any restrictions on who can use the widgets. I will take a look and see if I can replicate the issue.
