    Hello,
I tried to register for a Google Pay Account in order to accept payments.
After Google Pay API support team checked, they asked me to updated to Google Pay API V.2 .

Do you when Google Pay API V2 will be implement to the plugin?

    Thanks,
    Simon

    Email from Google :
“Thanks for your submission. It looks like you’re using an older Payment Request API. We have updated to Google Pay API V.2, Please check it out and apply it to your integration. Please check below for more information.

To begin the integration process, follow the developer documentation for type of integration you’d like to create on our developer site. Based on your submission to this form, we suggest that you begin with the Setup section under Web, in the Guides tab. There are 2 methods of integration, supported payment processors and direct. The supported processors we currently work with are listed here.”

    Hello @simontec,

Did the Google API team reject your request based on that? Google API V1 is still supported and works without issue.

We have plans to release an update in the next few days. I don’t believe the use of V1 should be the sole reason for a Google Pay Merchant ID request rejection.

    Thanks,

    Hi @mrclayton ,
    Thanks for your fast reply.

Kind of, they ask me to complete my web integration with API V2 to move forward.

I will check when you will release Google API V2.

Thanks for working on this plugin,

    Simon

The newest version (2.6.55) uses the new Google Pay V2 API. You should be good to go now.
