Hi, i was able to do everything about gPay and i have sent request for the merchant ID, when they will approve my request i need just to add the merchant ID in your plugin in the form “Merchant ID” and thats it, correct?

Will i receive money when someone will pay in my Google Pay account or in my stripe? ( I apologize but I don’t understand the reason for the merchant id if I will use stripe…. )

After they approve it, can i deactivate the “PaymentRequest gateway” right?

    Thank You

    Yes, that’s correct.

You will receive the funds in your Stripe account.

Yes, you don’t need both gateways enabled at the same time.

    Kind Regards

Because Google Pay requires it. More than likely it’s used to identify all requests that come through GPay as being for your GPay account. But you’d need to confirm that with them.

More than likely that’s happening because of your theme’s styling. I can’t tell you how to fix it because I don’t know what theme you’re using or your website url.

    Thanks,

@caramella1123 The icon html is not present on your checkout page which means something on your site is filtering it.

That would not be caused by our plugins.

    Thanks,

The problem is not with the Stripe plugin. You could have a plugin or customer code using the woocommerce_gateway_icon filter which is called when the icons are rendered on your checkout page.

    Thanks

I’m try to find the plugin that is filtering, anyway, why the button gPay has the rounded corners? i have tried to change different option inside your plugin but seems is not changing with rectangle, i would like to have the rectangle button like for apple pay and paypal, how can i fix?https://prnt.sc/4aMgSXeBH6b4 Thank You

The Google API team changed their GPay SDK without informing anyone and part of that change was forcing the rounded corner button. We can’t control that right now but are adding an update to provide both options since the GPay team seems to have overlooked that.

We’ve tried to notify them but the Google API team is notoriously hard to get a hold of or communicate with.

@caramella1123 The PayPal plugin already has a button shape option.

    Thanks
