# Google PageSpeed – blocking CSS ressources

 * Hello my friend,
 * yesterday I installed your plugin and love it.
    Now I have run an analyses with
   Google PageSpeed ([http://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/](http://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/))
   which gives out a problem for every font used with Easy Google Fonts. It says
   that the site is using blocking css ressources which slow down the rendering 
   of the site. You can easily check this, when you go to the above page and enter
   the URL of a site which uses the plugin. Is there a way to solve this problem,
   which would lead to a better google rank?

 * Hi Benjamin,
    This isn’t a plugin issue. The reason you are getting this message
   is because google classifies any CSS as a blocking resource ([more info here](https://developers.google.com/web/fundamentals/performance/critical-rendering-path/render-blocking-css)).
   Even if you added google web fonts manually to WordPress you will get the same
   message. Cheers

 * Oh, thank you Sunny. An interesting read. Although it makes me wonder why PageSpeed
   reduces the rankpoints in that case 🙁
