 * My mobile/desktop PageSpeed score is 91/98 without this plugin and 76/89 when
   Really Simple SSL plugin is activated.
    Why is that?

 * Did you enable the .htaccess redirect? If you measure the speed of the http url
   with a php redirect, this is much slower than the .htaccess redirect. You can
   enable it in settings/ssl.
 * Additionally, you should test the https URL, as this is the new permanent URL.
