Google not pulling Meta Description

    Google is pulling the Instruction section, even though I have a meta description in there.

    Is there some way to change this? Thanks

    I’m not sure what you mean?

    When I check that page in Google’s Structured Data Testing Tool the metadata looks normal.

    Hi I may have used wrong term. When I do a Google Search for my post subject, I see my site linked. But the snippet they used is the Instructions for how to make my recipe.

    When I wrote the post, I did not put that in the snippet. I had 4 sentence overview with key words about the post.

    Are you using an SEO plugin like Yoast SEO? They should take care of that metadata. We only handle the recipe part.

    Even then, the only thing you can do is provide all the information to Google. They still decide for themselves what to do with it.
