• I recently moved my site to https:

I tried to use ALL of the sitemap generators on WordPress inc. Yoast (which doesn’t like to give support) etc, but ALL of them produce either sitemaps with http: and/or sitemaps which could not be read.

So I created my own sitemap for my pages and posts and submitted it to Google.

On google webmaster tools 50 pages have been submitted, and only 3 indexed. On the index tab, it display 0.

    My site is

    https://alteregovoices.com

I submitted it on Friday….should I wait even longer for all the pages to be indexed?

    Thank you!

I just looked at your website source file and I see that most of your pages are showing rel=”canonical with http and not https so google will not index the https pages
You need to fix this maybe it is coming from cache plugin ?

    Thanks for responding so quickly.

I have deactivated the Quick Cache, and set the Canonical Settings under Yoast to “Force https”.

Could you possibly check again for me please as I have no idea where to look?

    Thanks

    Yes now it will index.

Please note it can take up to 10 days, if you want to make it faster go to your google webmaster and click on fetch as google and then crawl all pages .
•One thing I would suggest is that you check your website on chrome browser you will see that the https is mark in rad and it should be greed it is better to fix it.
