 * I am wondering if my clients “HAS” to use Google Maps with WP Store Locator. 
   Or, can he use another platform?

 * For now only Google Maps is supported, but in the next major version OpenStreetMaps
   will also be available.

   I do hope to have a public beta version ready in August, and based on how many
   issue show up I will release it shortly after that.
