# Google Maps not loading correctly – Oops! Something went wrong.

 * Hello,
    I have input the api key, but Google Maps doesn’t load on either the 
   back or front end. I have read the other topic about this but it doesn’t seem
   to apply. Not sure what to do or how to access the javascript console, can anyone
   help please?
 * More info;
    When the api key is present, I am unable to enter the address and
   see ‘Oops! Something went wrong.’ in the address field too.

 * Could you please double check whether there are options in your theme or in other
   plugins also requiring Google API key, and add the same key there too.
 * Have you restricted the keys while creating? If yes, please, make sure to have
   them unrestricted.

 * Thank you for your quick response! I had restricted the keys, unrestricting them
   solved the issue.

 * Could you please go to the frontend of the page and try to use the F12 key of
   the keyboard? Or alternatively, you can go to the More Tools > [Developer Tools](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-WZMsn6FQffBNmnA2RsSV6ifuVoj4Myu/view?usp=sharing)
   from your browser.
 * After pressing the key the small window will open with the [tabs](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qRNvg7oP91eSi-x7sgzGGYXiQNYkEA6P/view?usp=sharing).
   You will find the console tab there.
