    Hi there,
on this page, using the divi theme, there is a google map (just scroll down).
Google maps is checked in the integrations (also placeholder), but it is shown wether cookies are accepted or not.
Any idea how to solve this?
    Best regards
    Uli

    Hi @ulinn,

It’s been a while, so I have to reproduce the issue with Divi. Be with you as soon as possible.

Is this the standard integration for Divi, or an add-on or other plugin?

    regards Aert

Hi @aahulsebos, it’s DIVI’s own “Fullwidth Map” Element.

    Hi @ulinn,

The Divi implementation makes it impossible to block, then activate the map again.

    If you add
    ‘maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js’,
    ‘js/custom.unified.js’

To the script center, you will see the map gets blocked, only it won’t activate again.

We haven’t been able to initialise the Divi script after consent due to the way Divi has implemented this.

We have been in contact with Divi about similar issues, like reCaptcha, but it’s not a priority for them.

The most generic solution for DIVI would be to integrate with the WP consent api. When they do that, it will work as expected.

For your specific situation: if you want to add maps, and be able to block and activate them, you can try to use a supported plugin like WP Google Maps, WP Google Maps widget, Mappress or Google Maps Easy.

Let me know if you have any questions.
