I just installed the plugin and purchased a license key. When I try creating a map if I enter data under “latitude, longitude” and hit enter the map never moves to show the updated location. If I click into the “Search By Address, Zip Code…” box in the map and try to start typing text, as soon as I do I get the message “This page can’t load Google Maps correctly.”

I have validated my Google API is copied/pasted correctly from Google Cloud Platform. I also checked that the “Maps JavaScript API” is enabled for this key. For good measure I also enabled the “Maps Embed API.” I’ve set Application restrictions to “None,” and API restrictions to “Don’t restrict key.” I still get the error.

I tried creating a map to show this error…there’s no way to really show it unless I create a login, and you go through the process of trying to create a map.

    Hi:

Thanks for the reply. The website is https://thearizonaexplorers.com . And just to confirm, I did indeed create the API key, added billing information, and updated the API key in WP Google Map settings.

    Hi,
Thanks for your quick reply. We debugged your website, seems no issue. Can you please create a Map from the plugin dashboard and put the shortcode inside a page.

Once added shortcode in any page, please let us know the page URL here.

    Thanks

    Sure, here you go:

    https://thearizonaexplorers.com/page-with-map-for-testing-purposes/

When I go into “Add Map” to create a new map, the default location is NYC. I can drag the map around to a new location within the “Add Map” dialog, I can zoom in/out, etc., and then when I save the map is updated with the new location. Cool…but I (apparently) still can’t actually go to a location from the search bar in the top right of the page.

FYI I also added a screen shot on the page above so you can see exactly what I’m seeing when I get the error on map creation. As soon as I type even a single character into the box above the map, I get the error.

Sorry, for the late reply. I see the map is showing without any error on the website and there has a screenshot related to the issue. Can you please recheck the issue in your admin panel now?

Still, if you face any issues, please troubleshoot the issue and send us the screenshot.

    Thanks
