Google Map Not Displaying in Single Listings

    Hi. First, i must say that this plugin is really really awesome. Many thanks for building it.

    Please, i am facing a challenge. The google map section in the single property view does not show. It displays:

    Oops! Something went wrong.
    This page didn’t load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details.

    Please, i will appreciate a speedy resolution.

    I am having the same problem – I can’t see any place to add the Google API which is required now in order to use Google Maps

    Do to a recent change with GoogleMaps you will need your own Google API key and that can be added to the Mappress Plugin which will correct the issue.

    So do you still need the MapPress plugin to use the Lat and Long? I could be wrong, but I don’t think that was explained in your documentation.

    No but the mappress plugin will include the required javascript and use your api key and the maps will display. Our developers will be working to bring similar functionality to our plugin but this is a great work around for the time being.

    Mappress only loads the javascript files if there is a Mappress map on the page – so I guess the workaround is to use Mappress and not your lat long map generator.

    At this time, yes. A future update to the plugin will add a field for the Google Maps API key, so get one now if you don’t already.
