Support » Fixing WordPress » google logging phantom pages on blog with 404

  • I’m a bit confused now. I had a brief beginning with b2evolution. It was too much messing around. So I changed to WordPress (<a href="http://toxicdrums.com/blog/">Toxic Drums</a>). I’m in the very early stages of learning how to do this but Google has logged hundreds of pages and I haven’t made more than about 5. They seem to be 404 errors. Question: Is this something hanging over from b2evolution (which had a calendar which had this problem) or is it a known issue with WordPress? If it is a known issue with WordPress does someone know the simple solution because this cannot be how it is on most blogs. My email address can be found at <a href="http://www.toxicdrums.com/contact.htm">Contact me</a>. I would much appreciate any experienced comments thank you :o) (Sam)
