google is finding .wordpress upon search when I paid for mapping

Hi there!
I am the owner of dianebadie.wordpress.com and also dianebadie.com

I’ve purchased the domain mapping option on WordPress and have the correct name servers uploaded into my go daddy account so that my .wordpress site becomes dianebadie.com However, when a google search is done of my name alone “Diane Badie” the first link that comes up is dianebadie.wordpress.com. Once you click it the name of the pages changes to “dianebadie.com”. How can I get WordPress to remove the initial search result of .wordpress? Shouldn’t that never come up now that I have mapped it to dianebadie.com. Thanks! Hope that makes sense!
