Google Fonts fail to load in 3.1.11 in Safari 14.1.1

    Hello!

    I am testing your plugin on our staging website with the intention of updating to the premium version and for the most part it is working very well.

    There seems to be an issue when loading Google fonts on the Safari browser that does not happen in Chrome and Firefox. The font seems to swap to default.

    This only seems to happen on the home/landing page and not on other pages as you navigate the website. You can see the font in the top bar and navigation change when you click into another page. You can also see the serif font on the home page in the headers that does not show up in the main content.

    Please let me know if there is an easy fix or if an update is anticipated soon as I would like to use this plugin on my production website.

    @struhlar Could you please check the options “Asynchronously load CSS files from Google Fonts” from WP-Optimize > Minify > Fonts and check if it helps to fix the issue?

    Thank you for your response. I tried all options before I sent the ticket, and I tried some of the “fixes” on this forum and nothing worked. It looks like this issue was addressed in a recent bug fix?

    Do you have any other ideas or code snippets I could try?

    @struhlar The fonts issue was resolved in the the current release, make sure you are using the latest version.

    If you are using the latest version, then I’d suggest to do a conflict test yet?

    First take a full backup.

    Try deactivating all plugins except for WP-Optimize and see if it is resolved.

    If so, reactivate each plugin one at a time until you find the culprit. You can check for the issue between activating each plugin, so you can see which one is causing problems.
