 * Is the only way to use Google Fonts is to add a <link tag to Google fonts and
   then have to edit the source?

 * Hi [@dkardell](https://wordpress.org/support/users/dkardell/). Thanks for using
   MetaSlider. We do have Google Fonts available in some parts of the Pro version.
   For example, the second screenshot [in this guide](https://www.metaslider.com/docs/theme-editor/)
   shows a “Font Family” dropdown that includes Google Fonts. That comes with a 
   [self-hosted option](https://www.metaslider.com/docs/self-hosted-fonts/) for 
   GDPR purposes.
 * For what it’s worth, we are working towards adding that feature into the Free
   version of MetaSlider, but that it will probably take a couple of releases before
   the development on that is done.
