    Hi pstacks,

    While I sincerely want to help resolve your problem, please understand that I need more information in order to do so. Here’s my suggestion:

    1) Go to the GDE Settings page, and under Advanced Options > Plugin Behavior, click on View Debug Information.

    2) Copy and paste that information in an email to me (link on that page) along with a couple of other pieces of information:

    * The shortcode you’re using that’s failing
    * The URL of the file you’re trying to embed (if not fully included in the above)
    * (optional) The URL of a page on your web site that is displaying the error.

    All of this information should help me determine what the issue is, if it’s a usage problem or a bug in the plugin itself that I should correct.

    I get a lot of reports here and I try hard to meaningfully answer all of them, and I want to make the plugin better, but I need affected users to share more detail to replicate and solve the problem.

    Hi Kevin,
    There was no email link, so I put the debug here.

    The shortcode is:

    the debug is:

    The email is a link in the text at the top of the debug page.

    In this case the error is correct. There’s no domain name in the URL of the file you’re calling:

    If that’s the correct URL (the document is on a localhost or LAN, not on the Internet), it’s not going to work. WordPress can be local, but the file cannot. See Notes.

    If Google can’t find the file, it can’t be converted.

    Hope this helps.
